Miller Gaffney ’02 and Carol Lee Pryor Brosseau ('03) host "Art Breakers,"" that premieres on Sunday night on Ovation the cable channel. It focuses on their lives as art brokers, who connect artists, collectors and buyers. They produced four episodes, which will air throughout October beginning Sunday Oct. 4, at 7 p.m. Central. Ovation has more than 50 million users. It also supports artists via its Ovation Digital Art Network. They are hopeful of getting the green light to continue filming. Baylor was a place where I made numerous friends who have changed my life. Dr. Karen Pope in the Art History department. I studied a lot with Dr. Pope for my major and traveled to Paris and Chicago together to study art. Her art classes were enjoyable and a week is never a time that I don't recall her sayingthat "Art history is a giant puzzle, and we as historians constantly keep looking for pieces to fit together." My dad was in the auto business, and I had to work in the dealership each summer. I worked one summer as a mechanic's assistant, changing oil and brake pads.
